The PSP is the best road trip toy that someone can have. PSP games generally come in the form of small UMD disc, but other ways to store PSP games.
Before going into how to download free PSP games, which I will share with you what is needed first.
First, you need is a memory device, at least 1 GB. If you have the money then I go with one new 8 GB memory sticks so Sony can pack full of games. With each day that passes things seem to be getting cheaper. Keep an eye on your local electronics store, sometimes you can get on sale.
Once you have a good sized memory stick, you will need to check your PSP firmware. Your PSP firmware must be version 1.5 or less, If you have a later version firmware then you have to downgrade your PSP. The process is fairly simple and the instructions can be found at most sites of PSP download.
Once you have those two things together, it's time to actually download free games to your PSP. The process can be done in 3 easy steps.
Free PSP Games – Step # 1
First, you need to download free PSP games from the Internet to your computer. There are three basic types of PSP download sites that you will come across, I referred in a previous article, so do not go into them now. You can read this article here if desired.
Free PSP Games – Step # 2
Once you download PSP games to your computer, you need to transfer to your PSP with a USB cable. Once you connect your PSP to the computer you can simply drag and drop the game files to your PSP.
You only need to ensure that copy files to the PSP game right track or not work. The right way to use is: PSP> GAME (make sure you are capitalized well).
Free PSP Games – Step # 3
Now that you have transferred PSP games with your hand, all you have to do is unplug your computer. Then in the PSP menu, scroll down to where it says "game" and select the memory stick option. Then press "X" and its list of PSP games will appear on your screen.
