The Nintendo Wii is one of the most popular gaming consoles in the world, with millions of people use every day to entertain them. However, if you have a Wii you know the problems that a damaged game disc can cause. Because the Wii only uses DVD discs, are prone to getting scratched and damaged, making their games extremely fragile. Fortunately, there is a simple way to backup and copy your Wii games … and play without a mod chip.

Because the Wii uses the media Popular DVD (instead of Nintendo cartridges preferred), have been forced to employ a large number of protective measures in order to stop people illegally copying their games. You see, the protection of copyright Nintendo Wii used with relatively simple. Like many other game manufacturers, who have chosen to encrypt their game discs so that only Nintendo Wii consoles can read it. This encryption is where the game is burned on the DVD so that only a Wii can read what it says … and things like computers only see a jumble of letters and words. This means that games can be widely distributed to be played on Wiis, but can not be used with the likes of software DVD copy.

If you try to copy a Wii game, the tool DVD copy will not be able to read, resulting in your computer just by copying a lot of words and letters at random to another DVD, it's useless. In order to make copies and backups of your games play Wii, you have to be able to make a perfect 1:1 copy of the game, so the Wii does not know that the game is not in the original game disc. And fortunately, there is a way you can do this.

You can actually copy Wii games very easily with a tool called “GameBackupSystem“. This tool has been created by an anonymous team, but we were able to backup and play 20+ Wii games with it. It copies your game discs perfectly, because it is able to read the copyright encryption on Wii games. This means that you can copy as many games as you want with the system, and then play them on your console without a mod chip.
