Sometime last year, when my old TV decided to breathe its last, faced a new challenge: the purchase of the latest television. I was not sure if I should go to the LCD or plasma shape. After a rudimentary search on the net, I decided to take a look at both before I made my purchase. Later that night, I was back home with my new purchase, and was neither a plasma or an LCD. Instead, it was a Nintendo Wii game console. Thus is like my appointment with Nintendo Wii games began.

Of course, gaming console from Nintendo is more than a gaming machine. Combine multimedia PC, game console and browser in one. Which explains why I bought it, even if it was a couple hundred more expensive than plasma had intended to buy! However, Nintendo really scores with their Wii games. That's where it really packs a punch.

Nintendo Wii games has a long reputation as one of the best video games out there. This is partly due to the sheer quality of the game console. Since you can play these games with a wireless remote control and body movements, there is absolutely no sense of moderation. It's pure, unadulterated fun the whole way.

To make things easier for the new owner, the Wii setup is pretty easy, although it takes a little getting used to. The best part, as I learned, was that you can connect to your favorite sports news as it establishes your Wii. It's free!

Now, let's move on to the real goodies – the games! Almost all Nintendo Wii games are a delight to play. However, some are obviously better than others. One of my favorites is the 'Mario Kart', where the player has the freedom to build your personalized Mii and compete against a handful of opponents. When used in conjunction with the Wii Wheel, you can enjoy some stunning tricks.

Another winner from Nintendo Wii Games is the Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Meet with your family or a group of friends to bring out the best multiplayer thriller. The large number of characters and the depth of characterization are striking. You can customize your party any way you want. And if you wish, you may even gain share screenshots and play games with your friends. For the uninitiated, the simplicity of the game controls is an added benefit. You only have two attack buttons and can produce a series of variations, simply by tilt controls in several directions. The fun of the game is to understand the weaknesses of their opponents and use that knowledge to break out of the competition.

Rayman Raving Rabbids is another popular Nintendo Nintendo visuals, this game is also designed for multiple players. The child in you will be happy with this game.
